So, this week in Dallas, TX we had a record count of 12 tornadoes touch down!
OMG! I know.....I know....
JJ and I and the family are all safe.
So, with this being said, the VERY day after the million dollar damage to our city:
God sent the sun. It was surprisingly BEAUTIFUL outdoors. JJ and I headed for the park.

Farmer's Market

So, this past weekend JJ and I plus one of my BFFs and her daughter had a blast at the Farmer's Market here in Dallas.
Who knew, huh?
Fruits, veggies, and lots of vendors giving away samples of their harvests....It was the most awesome time, and JJ's first time! We loved it and wanted to share photos. Enjoy!!!!

First Zoo

So, the week of Spring Break was a great one. We hope yours was as well.
JJ got outdoors in the fresh air, Had a slight fever for two days, but towards the weekend was full steam ahead and ready for action. We decided on the zoo. It was an exciting time for our Prince, JJ.  This was his first trip. Hope you all like the video. Enjoy!!!!

New Book

So, three Sundays ago, the First Lady of my church and my Pastor presented my son, JJ with a Big boy bible.
I know, huh? Tear.
Yes, we know We are so blessed to have these two in our lives!!!

Anyhow, this particular bible is his second one. His very first was presented to him at birth.

This new one has a soft, yet durable cover, and animated stories. I think he loves it, and mom and dad sure do love it for him!!!! Enjoy the pic that follows. Chao

TRAINing Day!

So, JJ loves trains, fire trucks!
Loyal blog followers know this.
So, this past weekend Mommy and Daddy took our Prince to Walmart and bought him a Thomas train track to go with his Thomas The Train Tank Engine. Both pieces featured were bought at different stores. LOL.
We successfully failed in our efforts, but we count it all joy as our son still had Joy written all over his face. We will soon get the original Thomas that accompanies the track and will upload those results as well!Enjoy the video!

With the sudden death of Ms. Whitney Houston, two weeks ago, I, along with the world have been overwhelmed with grief. It truly felt like I lost a dear friend.
