Long awaited* UPDATE*

So, it's 2013...and everyone is wondering how is JJ doing? Better yet, what has happened to his blog?
Well, JJ is still around and so is his Blog...we have been on a very long Hiatus, just do to life and things of that sort. So, We do extend a heartfelt apology  for our absence , but promise to keep you updated from here on out.
So, yes, in Dec. JJ  was hit hard with  the sudden death of his grandpa "PAW-PAW", whom he was extremely close with, and then in Jan. (January 25th to be exact) he turned 4, and we started school, so things around our camp are finally starting to settle down....Appreciate all of you for being so loving and patient.

Christmas 2012

Circus2012

So, on August 11, 2012-The circus came to Dallas, TX. We were so excited about this year's attraction because JJ is 3 and FINALLY old enough to enjoy. We bought our tickets online and hoped for a great show, and that's exactly what we got. The circus was amazing.!!!!Can't wait til next year. Here are some of our favorite pics from Circus 2012.

Elmo!

My son was so in love with Elmo and Sesame Street when he was around 1 year old. He still does like Elmo, but he is a bit more fascinated by trains, basketballs, and Caillou.
Anyhow, I found an amazing Elmo video that makes my kid get up and dance. Thought I would share. Enjoy!

Splash Day!

So, its been Exhaustingly HOT, and miserable here in TX and all over this summer. The 'Rents finally decided (with a little coaxing from JJ:) that today would be the day to get out and let him enjoy his kiddie pool.

The Simple Life

Life comes with so many WONDERFUL blessings...Large and Small.
It has its Up and Down moments...But there is so much to be thankful for!
This day and everyday.....I am thankful for the Love that is my son, James.
I am grateful and thankful for his life and for serene, wacky, and full-fledged chaotic moments we share. I love em all.  Having a child helps you to enjoy the simple things! Yes indeed that's what its all about. Sit back and enjoy!And be sure to count your blessings everyday!!!

So, there is a Silly side that I just love about kids. They bring a certain something that just melts your heart.They are innocent, playful, full of energy and just plain ole FUN! Well, JJ is no except-Check him out as she sits upon his throne....ERR, I mean Mom and Dads shoulders! LOL.

So, the First month of summer has ended, and its slowly drawing our summer to a close. Bad News: It's almost Back to School time and The temperatures are so OUTSTANDINGLY hot and Exhausting we can't think straight.

Father's Day 2012

So Father's Day 2012 was VERY exciting. JJ got to spend the day with his Dad, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather! It was an Beautiful day that began with Breakfast, and gift giving, and ended with pictures. Here is a pic that we took of JJ. He loves to read, and play with his toys during service BUT if you notice he seems to be attentive to the WORD. Hallelujah!

Sports Authority!

JJ is such the athlete! He loves to play Basketball, soccer, Tennis, and Football.
He even loves watching sports on T.V. with  Mom and Dad.
Our favorite team is the Dallas Mavericks , of course!
So, can't you imagine his excitement when we went for a surprise visit into the mall, and came out with a Dallas Mavericks Basketball !

SUNday

So, this week in Dallas, TX we had a record count of 12 tornadoes touch down!
OMG! I know.....I know....
JJ and I and the family are all safe.
So, with this being said, the VERY day after the million dollar damage to our city:
God sent the sun. It was surprisingly BEAUTIFUL outdoors. JJ and I headed for the park.

Farmer's Market

So, this past weekend JJ and I plus one of my BFFs and her daughter had a blast at the Farmer's Market here in Dallas.
Who knew, huh?
Fruits, veggies, and lots of vendors giving away samples of their harvests....It was the most awesome time, and JJ's first time! We loved it and wanted to share photos. Enjoy!!!!
